Two backgrounds. One shared purpose.
Tanner Rapp · Co-founder
Tanner brings firsthand experience running a primary care and behavioral health clinic. He understands the competing demands on practice teams and the need for clear, accountable billing support.
Caleb Rapp · Co-founder
Caleb holds a degree in instrumentation and automation. He brings a systems-focused perspective to the way billing tasks are organized, tracked, and connected—helping shape practical automation around the work a practice needs done.
A practical point of view
Clinic operations leave little room for invisible billing work. Staff are balancing services, documentation, payer questions, and the everyday demands of running a practice. RemitTrail brings that clinic-side perspective to billing support: make outstanding work visible, describe the next action, and keep the practice informed.
The approach combines practical automation with human review. It does not replace the practice’s clinical judgment, payer-contract decisions, or final authority over corrections, appeals, refunds, adjustments, and write-offs. Instead, it is designed to clarify the handoff between the records a practice maintains and the billing work that can proceed from them. It also keeps unresolved dependencies visible so a practice can decide what needs attention.
Clear scope before access
Every engagement starts with the practice’s services, payer mix, systems, contacts, and current sticking points. Before work begins, the parties agree the selected services, expected volume, EHR responsibilities, reporting, and written terms. Before protected information is accessed, they also establish the appropriate privacy documentation, approved access, and secure exchange plan.
RemitTrail supports primary care, mental health, and SUD programs. To make a first conversation productive without sharing patient information, review the billing preparation checklist, then book a consultation.
