Monthly pricing, stated plainly
RemitTrail’s monthly pricing is $750 per practice or account for an agreed primary-care billing scope and $750 per practice or account for an agreed mental-health billing scope. An agreed substance-use disorder (SUD) program scope covering PHP, IOP, or OP billing is $1,500 per practice or account. These are flat monthly fees for the scope agreed in writing, not a percentage of collections, reimbursement, or legacy A/R recovery.
That pricing does not create an automatic package for every practice. Before work begins, the practice and RemitTrail need to agree the services, expected volume, billing platform or clearinghouse, EHR responsibilities, reporting cadence, contacts, and approved access. A mixed practice needs a written allocation and fee confirmation so the scope is clear and billing is not duplicated.
What an agreed scope can cover
Depending on the signed selection and records supplied by the practice, a scope can include reviewing billing information, preparing and submitting supported claims, monitoring payer responses, organizing corrections and missing-information requests, and handling denial follow-up within the agreed scope. It can also include matching remittance information to claims and available deposit information, then identifying discrepancies for practice review.
The practice remains responsible for complete and timely clinical and demographic records, coding and charge capture unless specifically included, provider enrollment, payer-contract decisions, clinical authorization submissions, and final decisions about corrections, appeals, refunds, adjustments, or write-offs. RemitTrail may hold an item when information is missing, inconsistent, unauthorized, or unsafe to process.
What requires a separate decision
Additional services are not assumed. Formal appeals, credentialing, clinical documentation work, coding from scratch, clinical utilization review, patient collections, payment processing, and legacy A/R require separate consideration or a separately signed scope. Legacy A/R, in particular, needs an opening inventory and a written project or monthly fee before any work starts.
Hypothetical example: a therapy group may choose the $750 monthly mental-health scope for current billing work, while a request to work a prior-year aging list is evaluated separately after the records, payer mix, and handoff criteria are reviewed.
